Polygon Zero has Accused Matter Labs of Code Attribution
Polygon's scaling division has accused zkSync Era's L2 network developers, Matter Labs, of stealing the project's code. This is done on the basis of zero-disclosure evidence.
In an update called Boojum fully copied parts of the SNARK Plonky2 protocol were found, according to Polygon. The statement says that the code was integrated without the original copyright or mention of its developers.
"Today's accusations are unfounded, misleading, and extremely disappointing coming from a team I highly respect," said Matter Labs co-founder and CEO Alex Gluchowski.
